Imagery
Time - 5 minutes writing
Description: Pick an image, and write a story, song, or poem inspired by what you see and what your imagination turns it into.

Tips: Imagine yourself in the photo. Ponder what's around you, ask what you are doing, thinking, feeling, and seeing?
Use this chance to share your plant photos, art, and crafts!
Flower Art: Need more images? Explore a project of flower photography.
Time - 10 minutes writing
Digging
Description: Do some digging - research a plant fact or two, share if in a group, then write a story or poem based off of the fact.
Tips: The fact is the starting spark, but your story can be anything. Create a new fact or tell the story of how the info applies to the plant. Empathize and emote - what would you feel if you had that trait, how would it effect or change life?
According to the language of flowers, Nemesia is associated with graceful beauty, purity, and the ability to overcome challenges
Time - 8-10 minutes writing
Naming
Description: Bring a plant name, share the ideas on how it got its name in the group or by brainstorming, continue it as a story on the reason for the name.
Tips: Make it ordinary or fantastical, tell the origin story or let the reader figure it out by the plants actions and personality.
Pretend you are filming the plant's life, who does it talk to, what's its purpose and passion, daily life and dreams?
