Day 2.
I was going to write but these midges are up in my tent!

Day 4. I just had my first shower – by dunking my hair in a lake and scrubbing with the cold water.
All fresh and clean now! I was woken up by a herd of cows at 4:30am. A dozen scary dark figures surrounding my tent and seeming quite annoyed that I was in their grazing path.
